Sully – Morland

Paris 4e

Named after the pont de Sully and the boulevard Morland.

The bridge and the rue de Sully honour Maximilien de Béthune, duke of Sully (1559–1641), friend and minister of King Henri IV. The boulevard honours Colonel François-Louis de Morlan, called Morland (1771–1805), of the Imperial Guard's chasseurs. The station opened in 1930 as Pont Sully.
