Innstraße

Brigittenau

Named after the river Inn, a tributary of the Danube.

The street was named on 4 July 1890 after the Inn, a right-hand tributary of the Danube. Its avenue of plane trees is protected as a natural monument. Until 1905 a chapel of St John of Nepomuk stood at No. 6, where Czech residents of the area held evening prayers.
