Named after Judith Auer (1905–1944), resistance fighter against Nazism.
Born in Zurich, Judith Auer worked at the AEG cable works in Berlin and joined a resistance group linked to the Saefkow-Jacob-Bästlein organisation. She hid Franz Jacob in her flat for months. Arrested in July 1944, she was sentenced to death and executed in Plötzensee on 27 October 1944. The street was named in 1973.
