Named after Orval Abbey.
This Cistercian abbey in the Gaume, now in Belgium, once lay in the Duchy of Luxembourg. Legend says Countess Matilda of Tuscany lost her ring in a spring here and a trout brought it back, so she called the place 'Val d'Or', golden valley. The abbey's brewery makes a famous beer.
