École Vétérinaire de Maisons-Alfort

Named after the École nationale vétérinaire d’Alfort, the veterinary school in Maisons-Alfort.

The school was created in 1765, first at La Chapelle, north of Paris, then moved to the château d’Alfort, where teaching began in October 1766. It has been on the Alfort site ever since. The station opened in 1970 as Maisons-Alfort – École Vétérinaire and took its present name in 1996.
