Named after the town of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine and its RER station.
The station lies on the boundary between Saint-Ouen and Clichy and was planned as Clichy – Saint-Ouen. Under an Île-de-France Mobilités rule, stations with a connection must share one name, so it took the name of the existing RER C station, to Clichy's displeasure. It opened in 2020.
