Mairie de Saint-Ouen

Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine

Named after the town hall of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine.

The town is named after Saint Ouen, bishop of Rouen, who died in 686 at the villa Clippiacum, King Dagobert's palace. Created at the Revolution as Saint-Ouen, it was renamed Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine in November 2018. Since line 14 arrived in 2020 the station has been subtitled Région Île-de-France: the regional council has its headquarters about 200 metres to the west.
