Haselhorst

Named after Haselhorst, an old field name in Spandau.

The name first appears in 1590, in a land register of the Spandau office, as one of four field names of the Plan farm: ‘die Hasel Horst’. Its exact location is no longer known. The name slowly spread to the farm, which officially became Rittergut (manor) Haselhorst in 1848. The station opened in 1984.
