Bush Hill Park

Enfield

Named after Bush Hill Park, an old country estate with a mansion.

The estate began in 1671, and by 1724 it had a brick mansion of the same name, also called the Clock House after its clock tower. It was broken up for housing in the 1870s, and the station opened in 1880 to serve the new estate. We have not yet found where the name Bush Hill comes from.
